A natural story teller, Vancouver born singer songwriter, Victor Magnussen, began writing songs at the  age of 15 and at 19 had his professional singing debut performing with the vocal group "Sweet Majac" on CBC television's series "Its a Musical World." That was followed by years of studying and traveling extensively throughout Canada performing and recording many of his original songs with some of Vancouver's best session musicians. He made appearances on numerous televisions shows during this time, including the popular, "Vancouver Show," Vancouver Islands, "Daybreak," and another popular CBC series hosted by Shari Ulrich called, "Music Music Music."

Life and circumstances however, took Victor away from his music for several years until the spring of 2011 when he decided it was time for a new beginning. He had come to Krakow to teach English but didn't pursue any opportunities in the field and instead, decided it was time to dust of the guitar and start performing again. It was a daunting task. Many of the songs he had written over the years had been all but lost and literally had to be rethought, rewritten and relearned.

His first public performance in many years was held on June 26, 2011 at Siedziba, a small bar unused to live music, chosen for its close proximity to where he was staying and safe from causing a stir as it wasn't likely to receive a lot of attention. His next performance was at Cafe Szafe, one of the more popular live music venues. Since then he has played in many of Krakow's music venues. Including Cafe Szafe, Zaraz Wracam, Migawka, Wrega, Pub Kuranty, Massolit Books .
